Learning Outcomes- Students will demonstrate the ability to:

  • Discuss the principles in economic research and apply the conclusions drawn to develop a better understanding of one’s own behavior as a decision-maker in the micro economy. (Gen. Ed. Learning Outcome 5)
  • Analyze and evaluate the structures and processes of micro or macro economic systems using a variety of basic economic tools and measurements. (Gen. Ed. Learning Outcomes 1,3, 6)
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how economic and political activity influences the behavior of individuals and groups and how, in turn, they influence economic and political activity. (Gen. Ed. Learning Outcomes 2, 3, 7)
  • Examine the economic theories and research that have formed the basis of micro economic and macro policies for two centuries. (Gen. Ed. Learning Outcomes 4, 5)
