Our Covid-19 Story Living History Project

We all take pictures and shoot videos all the time!  Do you have some pictures or videos that you have taken that you feel really tell your story?  We'd love to include them as part of Our Story!

To submit digital materials to our archive project please email them to:   tgreer01@clevelandstatecc.edu or library@clevelandstatecc.edu

The subject line should read "Our Story Digital Living History Project Submission".

Please include in the body of the email your name, location, what the digital material represents ('A picture of my dog Cletus' for example), and choose one answer to this question:

May my submission/s be used in a public setting by the CSCC Library or other CSCC Department?

Yes, With My Name Attached

Yes, Without My Name Attached

Yes, After a Period of Time (Library staff will contact you to determine that period of time)

No, please use my submission for research purposes only

We would also love to know why this digital material was important to you, but this is not required for submitting digital material.

Did you have a favorite Webpage that you checked a lot during this interesting time?  Was there someone or some organization that you found on social media that was interesting, informative, or just plain fun?  What we read tells us a lot about ourselves and we are curious to know what you followed during the Covid Pandemic.  We will be taking screen shots of all Webpages and Social Media that are recommended to us and adding these to our overall Our Story Living History Project.

We are all surrounded by objects every day of our lives.  We interact with lots of different things through the day and over time.  Many of us didn't have masks before this time.  Some of us love to create artwork or write poems or stories, and the subject of those works have likely changed.  Anything that you want to share with us we'd love to include as part of Our Story!  Please also feel free to submit anything that your family created or felt was important as well.

What did we forget to include?  Our Story has many different parts and the library focuses more on making sure that we include anything that our community feels is important.  Do you want to submit something that isn't easy to put into a category?  No problem!
